The Carlton is a modern gourmet restaurant in Zurich offering guests quality wines, meals and events. The wine cellar has received several awards and has more than 900 classic and rare wines from the local area and the rest of the world. Using mainly regionally based products the chef Philippe Janes creates traditional and unusual French-style gourmet dishes, such as coastal cod on bouillabaisse and seafood with fennel and saffron potatoes. This Art Deco restaurant also has a cocktail bar and a garden terrace which, like the restaurant, are also modernly furnished to a high standard. The restaurant has an exclusive feel enhanced by regular events, including English afternoon tea, Monday Bouteille (bring a bottle), an after-work event with live DJ and Ciné & Dîner.
