Housed in a quintessential Terschelling farmhouse just outside Midsland, this is a charming restaurant where diners are made to feel right at home. The gorgeous natural surroundings not only foster a mood of tranquillity, but they also determine what ends up on your plate. Many of the ingredients are picked by the staff themselves or sourced from the restaurant's own vegetable garden. These then feature in modern dishes which also draw on Mediterranean and Asian influences. This is no-nonsense cuisine. Think a perfectly fried quail fillet, a robust chicken stock and Jerusalem artichoke in cream and deep-fried. Divine!
