It's a simple, rustic place inside – with a green-tiled bar that nods to East London traditions – while the kitchen has a similarly straightforward approach in its flavoursome sharing plates of vegetarian Middle Eastern cuisine. Dips and flatbreads, falafel, potato latkes and the signature oyster mushroom skewers can be found on a menu elevated by the chefs' delicate spicing. At dinner, the à la carte gives way to a 'Bubala Knows Best' set menu.
