Decent quality food, starter of toast and caramalized onion was a very nice surprise.
The service felt very rushed which is no surprise with chef and owner Chris Wright trying to squeeze in three sittings in one evening in his small restaurant with only 20 couverts. Tables are only a couple of inches apart which practically forces you to socialise with your neighbours and makes it difficult to get in & out. Guests were asked to wait outside for their table to be ready, understandably not everyone was willing to accept this. Overall it felt very basic; decoration of the room as well as the plates was lacking. No amuses as one might expect, no sides, no extras on the plate beyond what's on the blackboard. Charge €4 for a carafe of plain water which is free is in other similar restaurants. It feels like this place is too much aimed at making money with not enough attention to good food and the guests. Decent food, but too expensive for the overall experience; you can get better in the area for less.

Dîner très agréable. Très bonne cuisine qui ne place pas ses atoûts dans la présentation mais bien dans le goût. J'ai pris le croustillant de pied de cochon au câpres en entrée. J'ai adoré.
